The human resource is our most important asset...

Human capital is a collection of resources—all the knowledge, talents, skills, abilities, experience, intelligence, training, judgment, and wisdom possessed individually and collectively by individuals in a population. By partnering with the best in the hospitality,  marketing and culinary community as needed for each event, private function and consultation we will be able to always offer the best solution for all your culinary needs.

JAMES CLARK
Postal Fish Company / Hook and Larder

James and I have been friends for several years. I am a big fan of his cooking and I have a lot of appreciation for his respect of ingredients especially those form our NC coastline. His individual style is inspired by local, Southern influences with traditional cooking techniques. Our styles compliment each other and we always have a good time in the kitchen together.

JEREMY LAW
Soco

SoCo stands for "Southern Comfort." This—along with their vision of eating well and eating local—is at the heart of the food and atmosphere at SoCo. Owned and run by husband-and-wife team, Jeremy and Kimberly Law. Jeremy began cooking professionally in '99 with Food&Wine Best New Chef James Mazzio, and most recently served as Sous Chef to Vivian Howard of Chef and the Farmer before venturing off on his own. Kimberly, a recovering graphic designer and an NC native; enthusiastically serves as SoCo's General Manager, Wine Director and Executive Farmer.

Simply said these guys get it!  Being a Chef in a small hands on family operation is hard enough and can easily test the fiber of any relationship.  Adding a second layer of working the land earns another level of my respect and truly shows the fortitude of this power couple.

I have cooked with Jeramy several times.  I had the pleasure of assisting him with a dinner several years ago celebrating the launch of Chef Vivian Howard's TV show.  He has also opened his kitchen to me for a more casual industry family Sunday on the farm. We always have a good time together. Jeramy and I are looking forward to cooking together agin for you soon. We hope to see you in February 3rd or 4th for A Truffle Affair at SoCo

STEVEN & INEZ RIBUSTELLO
On the Square &
Tarboro Brewing Company

My favorite industry family in the world.  Two of the best people I know.  Our relationship with them stands almost 2 decades back to the top of the World Trade Center where my wife worked with them at Windows On The World and into Brooklyn where they are regular supporters of my first venture Soma.  Inez and Stephen Ribustello have dedicated their lives to creating and providing their guests with the ultimate culinary encounter. The couple met in the discerning confines of our North American dining capital, Manhattan, each honing a skill that makes them a fierce tandem in the world of food and wine.

They are also people who love beer and want to make their wonderful town a popular place to visit and live.  “We believe in the power of beer as a tool for bonding and helping others.  We enjoy making people happy, and we feel like our brewery is a place to enjoy the company of great people over a refreshing beverage”
